It’s finally that time of year, where the annual presentation of High School South’s Winter Christmas Show hosted by Mr. Correll premieres in our very own gymnasium! We were in for a fun treat this year as five different acts were put together by many students.
The first was the four-man band named “Sol”, including Declan Rizzo, Shawn Linder, Robbie Kahovec, and Adrien Mahoney that played classic christmas tunes.
This spectacular show also featured two singers from the school Chorus and Thespian groups, with Hope Kobus singing “White Christmas” and Morgan Burr singing “A Winter Wonderland”. Followed afterwards was a practiced skit called “A Correll Christmas” put on by our very own Thespian Theater group.
The last trio to perform was Aiden Panno and the “Jingle Jangles”, where he sang “Jingle Bell Rock” while Abbie Gresek and Cassidy Caufield danced along.
Overall, the show was very upbeat, fun, and full of holiday cheer! It was a great start to our winter break. Many teachers and students stopped by to see the wonderful talent and performances that the students had to offer, and it was a hit among the majority of all students. Great job to everyone that participated, and thank you for starting off our Christmas with lots of Indianific holiday spirit!
